The informed local and security sources reported that the US military base in Al-Omar oil field in eastern Syria was hit by 10 missiles at 6:05 am local time on Friday morning in response to the US’ recent terrorist attack on the positions of the Resistance Forces in Syria.
Reports suggest that the Americans have sustained considerable casualties and damages in the strike considering the number of US forces in that military base.
The sources have also noted that the sense of surprise and confusion has forced the US forces to send a message implying that "the US has no intention of military engagement or creating new battlefronts."
The Pentagon had said on Friday that the US has attacked two facilities in Syria allegedly used by the IRGC.
