US Unable to Salvage Israel: IRGC Chief

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Zionist regime is on the road to perdition and even the US is incapable of changing the doomed fate of Israel, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami said.

Addressing a cultural event in Tehran on Friday, the IRGC commander said the other side of the coin amid the Gaza tragedy and the suffering of Palestinians is the Israeli regime’s “political confusion, constant nightmares and ambiguity about future”.

It is impossible for the Zionist regime to survive with such an extent of villainy and a history of cruelty, the commander stated, adding that the Israeli regime is doomed to collapse.

He stressed that even the US is unable to save the Zionist regime or extend its existence with artificial respiration.

The Al-Aqsa Storm operation by Hamas proved that “preventive battle” has lost its meaning, since the Israeli regime has no capacity to deepen its internal security anymore, the IRGC chief added.

More than 11,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, when Hamas fighters launched a surprise operation against Israel outside Gaza.

The Israeli regime says 100,000 Palestinians have moved southwards in Gaza in the last two days. Many Palestinians say they remain trapped amid continued fighting.
