Saturnia Catania’s Manavinezhad Misses Rest of Season
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Saturnia Catania outside spiker Mohammad Javad Manavinezhad will miss the rest of SuperLega season.
The player suffered an injury in the match against Verona and MRI showed that he has a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Therefore, Manavinezhad must undergo anterior cruciate ligament surgery and will be out of action for more than six months.
The SuperLega is over for this Iranian star and he cannot even play in the Volleyball Nations League for the Iranian national volleyball team.
