Two of Iran’s Women’s Handball Players Sidelined with Injury

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s handball players Mina Vatanparast and Sanaz Rajabi have suffered injuries.

Iran’s captain Vatanparast and Rajabi, a right-wing player, have sustained foot injuries and cannot play for Team Melli against Kazakhstan.

The players suffered injuries in the match against Chile.

Iran has so far lost to Poland, Germany, Japan, Chile and Congo in the 2023 World Women Handball Championship.
