Palestinian Resistance Targets Southern Tel Aviv with Missiles after Israeli Massacres in Gaza

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, said it has launched missiles at southern Tel Aviv in response to the intense Israeli bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip.

In a statement released on Monday, the al-Qassam Brigades said they had fired missiles targeting southern Tel Aviv and the city of Holon in retaliation for the Israeli massacres against civilians in Gaza.

Confirming the strikes, Israeli media reported that a series of “ten missiles were directed towards central Israel”, causing significant damage in Holon where one missile landed, injuring a settler and damaging several cars.

According to Israeli sources, seven missiles aimed at illegal settlements surrounding Gaza and Sderot in the south of the Israeli-occupied territories were intercepted.

In a separate statement, the al-Qassam Brigades mentioned targeting two Israeli Merkava tanks in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis with Yassin 105 anti-tank munitions. This action occurred amid fierce clashes between the resistance forces and the Israeli army. The Brigades said that an unspecified number of Israeli soldiers were killed or wounded after they targeted a special Zionist force in Beit Lahia.

Reports also indicated "violent" confrontations between Israel's special forces and Palestinian fighters in the western part of the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza.

Highlighting recent operations, the al-Qassam Brigades declared the destruction of 44 Israeli military vehicles "completely or partially" within the past 48 hours across various fighting fronts in Gaza.

The conflict escalated on October 7 when Israeli forces launched a devastating war on Gaza following a retaliatory operation by Palestinian resistance movements, termed Al-Aqsa Storm. The ongoing Israeli aggression has resulted in the deaths of approximately 18,200 Palestinians, primarily women and children, with over 50,000 others sustaining injuries.

The Tel Aviv regime has also imposed a "complete siege" on Gaza, severing essential supplies like fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians residing in the region.
