Over 80 Foreign, Knowledge-Based Firms to Take Part in Iran Trans Expo 2023


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An official at Iran’s Ministry of Roads and Urban Development said 85 domestic and foreign startups and knowledge-based companies will take part in the seventh edition of the Iran International Exhibition of Transportation, Logistics and Related Industries.

Concurrent with Transportation Week, the 7th edition of the exhibition, dubbed “Iran Trans Expo 2023”, will be launched at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Grand Prayers Hall (Mossala) in Tehran on December 18 and run through December 20, the head of the information and communications center of the ministry noted.

It will be organized by Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Urban Development, the Fund for Innovation and Prosperity of Unions and related associations, Vahid Qorbani said, adding that the exhibition with the motto of “Smart Transportation” will be inaugurated in a ceremony with the participation of Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash, deputies and other officials of the ministry.

Showcasing the latest achievements and products in the transportation industry to promote competitiveness among the companies and entities active in the sector is the main aim of organizing the exhibition, he stated.

Qorbani went on to say that a value engineering training workshop will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.

In addition, a tutorial workshop on the physical and functional specifications of the logistics centers of various countries will be held by the Roads, Housing and Urban Development Research Center on December 19, he maintained.

He further pointed out that companies active in the fields of transportation in air, sea, rail and road sectors, knowledge-based companies, startups, and training centers will take part in this edition of the exhibition.

Qorbani went on to say that 316 exhibitors from both the public and private sectors will partake in the Iran Trans Expo 2023.
