The PRCS has released an audio recording of 15-year-old Palestinian girl Layan Hamadeh, who died after being shot by Israeli forces while calling for help in a car targeted by them. Layan was trapped in the car with her deceased family members after an ambush on their vehicle.
Layan’s six-year-old sister, Hind, survived but was trapped in the car with the deceased for hours as a PRCS team attempted to rescue her. The PRCS has lost contact with the rescue team, and their fate, along with Hind's, remains unknown.
Hind Hamadeh, the sole survivor of an Israeli bomb strike on the vehicle she was traveling in on Monday in northern Gaza, lost her father and four siblings in the attack. She remained trapped in the car for hours before medics could reach her.
However, the PRCS stated that they still have no information on whether their crew successfully saved Hind, their whereabouts, or Hind’s current condition. The group expressed deep concern for the safety of their colleagues and Hind in a post on X, wishing for a safe return for Hind, Yousef, and Ahmad, their humanitarian heroes.
