Iran’s Foreign Trade Value Hits $276 Billion in Current Administration’s Term

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The value of Iran’s foreign trade since the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi took office in August 2021 has reached $276 billion, according to a report.

The report put the volume of foreign trade of the country in this period at 410 million tons.

In the 29 months of the current administration in office, 95.858 million tons of products, valued at $149.558 billion, were imported into the country.

According to this report, the total foreign trade volume of the country in 2021 hit about 161.5 million tons, valued at about $114.5 billion, more than 124 million tons of which, valued at over $54 billion, were exports.

In 2021, Iran imported more than 37 million tons of goods, valued at more than $60 billion, the report added.

More than 113 million tons of goods, valued at over $40 billion, were exported from the country in the first 10 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2023 to January 22, 2024).

Also, more than 32 million tons of products, valued at over $54 billion, were imported into the country from March 21, 2023, to January 22, 2024.
