Azmoun Wants to Remain at Roma on Permanent Deal

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian attacker Sardar Azmoun seems to have impressed Roma and its fans with his attitude and sense of sacrifice for the team.

Following the team’s win over Frosinone – in which Azmoun scored the Giallorossi’s second goal of the night in a performance that saw him lead the attacking line from the start – Roma is reportedly keen on rediscussing the terms of Azmoun’s loan.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Azmoun wants to remain at Roma beyond his current loan spell and will do anything he can to convince his entourage to reach an agreement with his parent club, Bayer Leverkusen.

Roma, on the other hand, has an option to make Azmoun’s deal permanent for €12.5 million.

The capital club, however, is hoping to renegotiate this fee at the end of the season as Bayer Leverkusen has made it clear that Azmoun is not included in its long-term plans.
