Iran Imports over $752 Million of Trucks in 11 Months: IRICA

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – More than 5,000 tractor-trailers, valued at over $752 million, were imported into Iran in the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2023), the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) reported.

In total, 24,847 tractor-trailer units have been imported into the country over the past three years.

The report added that 8,951 and 10,039 tractor-trailers had been imported into the country in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Earlier, IRICA had announced that more than 4,380 passenger cars were imported into the country in the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year. 

As many as 4,386 passenger cars, valued at $86.478 million, were imported into the country from March 21 to December 22, 2023, it added.
