Iran, Turkey’s Top Diplomats Hold Talks on Regional Developments

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The top diplomats from Iran and Turkey held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral ties and the latest developments in the region.

In the phone call, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan exchanged views on the enhancement and promotion of bilateral ties between Tehran and Ankara as well as the latest developments in the region, especially in Palestine.

The Iranian and Turkish foreign ministers congratulated the governments and people of both countries on Eid al-Fitr.

They discussed the latest developments in Palestine and the Zionist regime’s ongoing crimes and aggressions in Gaza.

They also talked about the reactions to the Israeli missile attack on the Iranian Embassy’s consular section in the Syrian capital Damascus earlier this month and its repercussions.
