Pakistan Beats Iran at CAVA Nations League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Pakistan defeated Iran 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-16, 25-20) in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) on Thursday.
Iran U-20 volleyball team has defeated Turkmenistan and Afghanistan and lost to Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the tournament.
The CAVA Nations League was held in Islamabad, Pakistan, from May 11 to 17 at the Liaqat Gymnasium.
Pakistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan competed in the round robin event.
The CAVA Nations League holds significant importance as it will be integrated into the world ranking system as of 2025.
