Iran’s Beit Sayah Wins Silver at 2024 World Para Athletics C’ships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Sadegh Beit Sayah won a silver medal at the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships on Saturday.

He came second in the Men's Javelin Throw F41 Final with a throw of 47.92 meters.

Chinese thrower Pengxiang Sun won the gold medal with 48.94 meters and the bronze medal went to India’s Navdeep with 42.82 meters.

Held in East Asia for the first time and known as a crucial qualifier for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the Kobe 2024 Para Athletics World Championships has attracted over 1,000 athletes from 100 countries and regions competing in 168 events.
