Kim Jong-hyeok Appointed Iran, Uzbekistan Match Official
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – South Korean referee Kim Jong-hyeok was chosen to officiate the match between Iran and Uzbekistan in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification.
Team Melli will host Uzbekistan in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on June 11 in Group E.
Kim Jong-hyeok is a South Korean football referee who has been a full international referee for FIFA.
The 41-year-old referee became a FIFA referee in 2009. He also refereed in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, beginning with the opening-round match between Mongolia and Myanmar.
