In a phone conversation, Mirzoyan conveyed his condolences to the government and the people of Iran over the loss of President Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying officials who were martyred in the tragic helicopter crash in Iran’s northwestern province of East Azarbaijan

Mirzoyan emphasized the continuation of cooperation between Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran to achieve the objectives set by the leaders of both nations.

Baqeri expressed gratitude to Armenia's high-ranking officials, including the president, prime minister, and foreign minister.

He acknowledged the visit of Armenia's prime minister and foreign minister to Tehran to pay respects to the martyred Iranian President and Foreign Minister and their companions.

Baqeri highlighted the significance of implementing the statements made by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei during his meeting with the Armenian prime minister, which focus on achieving strategic goals between the two countries.

Emphasizing endogenous security as Iran's regional security doctrine, Baqeri stated that Iran is committed to playing an effective role in maintaining security and stability in the Caucasus.

Baqeri also reiterated Iran's readiness to implement the agreements reached during the tenure of the martyred President and Foreign Minister.

He expressed sympathy for the recent flood victims in Armenia and offered Iran's assistance to those affected.

Mirzoyan described Iran's role in strengthening peace in the South Caucasus region as significant.

He also expressed satisfaction with Iran's cooperation in implementing Armenia's infrastructure projects, including the Agarak-Kajaran road.
