The Syrian Arab Republic expressed solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran after the tragic explosion occurred in a mine in Tabas, located in southern Khorasan Province.
The blast claimed the lives of several mine workers and left many others injured.
“Syria’s leadership and people express their sincere sympathy with the leadership and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the explosion that occurred in a mine in the city of Tabas,” the Syrian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement.
The ministry added that Syria is confident the Iranian people will overcome this ordeal and continue their efforts in economic and developmental progress.
