In a meeting with the Iranian foreign minister’s special envoy for West Asia, held in Beirut, Nabih Berri lauded the Iranian diplomat’s active and constructive role during his presence in Lebanon.
The parliament speaker also expressed gratitude to Iran for supporting the Lebanese government, nation and resistance forces in the delicate situation amid the Zionist regime’s attacks.
For his part, the Iranian foreign minister’s special envoy hailed Lebanon’s “major victory” in the battle against Israel.
Mohammad Reza Sheibani said the Lebanese government, people and resistance managed to defeat the Zionist regime’s war machine.
