The is an invite-only tournament comprising of teams throughout Asia with this year’s edition taking place at Nonthaburi Stadium, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
Ehsan Osouli, member of the Iranian football federation’s board of directors, said that Team Melli has been invited to the tournament.
Iran will also compete at the Brazil tournament along with France, Afghanistan as well as host Brazil.
The Iran futsal team is headed by Vahid Shamsaei.
