The drone base was unveiled in Iran’s southern province of Hormozgan on the Persian Gulf coast.
The underground operational base accommodates the reconnaissance drones that monitor the US aircraft carriers.

In comments during the visit to the base, IRGC Commander Major General Salami said what has been unveiled is only a small portion of the IRGC Navy’s massive drone capabilities.
He said the modern and advanced drones at the IRGC Navy’s disposal have allowed the commanders to design various types of strikes with flexibility.
