The discussions were held in Tehran on Sunday during a meeting between Reza Najafi, ambassador and permanent representative of Iran to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Austria, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
During the meeting, the two diplomats reviewed the course of Iran’s activities in international organizations and the measures taken at the IAEA in the aftermath of the criminal military attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
Araqchi also stressed the need to strengthen diplomatic engagements in order to pursue and safeguard the rights and interests of Iran within international organizations.
