In an interview with Almanar during a visit to Beirut, Araqchi said the overall situation in Iran is good despite a series of problems caused by the sanctions.
He said the Zionist regime’s officials have claimed that the Mossad forces have played a role in the recent riots in Tehran and other cities of Iran.
Pointing to the 12-day war imposed by the US and the Israeli regime against Iran in June 2025, the foreign minister said the enemies had plans to carry out the same scheme for Venezuela this time in Iran and perceived that they could force Iran to surrender within three days, but failed to do so.
Scorning the Israeli prime minister’s dream of a so-called greater Israel, Araqchi said Netanyahu has been threatening all countries in the region, but encountered strong resistance in Lebanon and Iran.
He further reiterated Iran’s readiness for a fair and dignified agreement on the basis of mutual respect, saying Tehran is not confident of the US’ same intentions.
