Iran Sinks Switzerland at Deaf Futsal World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran earned its third victory in a row, beating the Switzerland 8-0 in the 2015 Deaf Futsal World Cup on Sunday.
The Iranian futsal team, who had defeated Japan 6-3 and Algeria 11-1, respectively, will play Norway in Group B on Tuesday.
The Iranian women’s team also defeated Denmark 8-3 in Group D and advanced to the next stage.
A total of 27 teams from 20 countries are competing in the events, which are in progress in Bangkok, Thailand.
Men’s event consists of 11 teams and 15 teams are participating in the women’s event.
