Iran’s Saipa Sacked Coach Majid Jalali

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – With two weeks to go, Majid Jalali has been sacked as head coach of Saipa football club on Tuesday.

Former Foolad and Tractor Sazi coach has been fired over poor results in the Iranian Professional League.

Jalali replaced German-Turkish coach Engin Firat in 2014.

The 59-year-old coach had quarrels with the club’s officials in the current season.

His assistant Farhad Pourgholami has been appointed as interim coach for the two remaining matches.
