Cuba Keen to Enhance Trade-Economic Cooperation with Iranian Companies

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Cuban president called for broadening and enhancing the trade and economic cooperation with Iranian firms, emphasizing the acceleration of settling the trade barriers existing between Iranian and Cuban economic enterprises.

Speaking during his visit to the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the 39th Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2023), Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel stressed that the government of Cuba is ready to ease the entry of Iranian economic enterprises to the Cuban market.

The president of Cuba also emphasized the participation of Iranian companies in the provision of consumer goods needed in this country.

The 39th Edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2023) was inaugurated at the EXPOCUBA Fairgrounds on November 6 with the participation of the Cuban president, a number of Cuban high-ranking officials and ministers, ambassadors and political representatives of various countries and trade-economic delegations from 20 countries.

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and CEO of Iranian Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) Farshad Moghimi, Iran’s Ambassador to Havava Mohammad Hadi Sobhani and a number of senior managers of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) participated in the exhibition.

The FIHAV 2023 will conclude today, November 11.
