US Exports to Iran Up 20% in 10-Month Period

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The US Bureau of Statistics said the country’s export of products to Iran registered a 20 percent hike in the first 10 months of the current year (January-October 2023).

Iran and the United States exchanged $44.4 million worth of products from January to October 2023, showing a four percent decline compared to last year’s corresponding period, the report said.

The two countries had exchanged more than $46.5 million of products from January to October 2022.

In this period, the US exports to Iran increased but its imports from Iran decreased.

According to the report, the United States exported $42.8 million of products to Iran from January to October 2023, showing a 20 percent growth compared to last year’s corresponding period.

The US had exported more than $35.6 million worth of goods to Iran from January to October 2022.

The United States imported over $1.6 million of products from Iran in the first 10 months of 2023, showing an 85 percent decline.

The US had imported $10.9 million worth of products from Iran between January and October 2022.
