Milorad Mazic Demoted to Fourth Official
TEHRAN(Tasnim)– Serbian referee Milorad Mazic has got his next World Cup duty after a controversial group stage match between Iran and Argentina.
The Iranian team lost to Argentina 1-0 in Group F of the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Saturday.
In the 54th minute, Pablo Zabaleta tripped Dejagah in the box but Mazic did not award a penalty to the Iranian football team.
Mazic has been selected as the fourth official for the World Cup Group E match between Switzerland and Honduras.
Nestor Pitana from Argentina will referee the match on June 25. He will be assisted by his countrymen Hernan Maidana and Juan Pablo Belatti.
