Iran Professional League: Foolad 3–2 Tractor Sazi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foolad of Khuzestan football team defeated Tractor Sazi of Tabriz in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Tuesday.
Eder Luciano put the visiting team Tractor ahead after just four minutes.
Mehrdad Jama’ati equalized the match in the 13th minute.
Foolad Cameroonian striker Aloys Nong found the back of the net in the 34th minute but Luciano scored his second goal 10 minters after interval.
Jama’ati struck on the hour mark after a mistake from Tractor Sazi keeper Hamed Lak.
Elsewhere, rock-bottom Malavan drew with Padideh 2-2 in Bandar Anzali.
Titleholder Foolad moved up to the third place of the IPL table, two points behind leader Naft and Tractor remained at the second place.
