Iran in Best Shape for Russia Matches, Coach Slobodan Kovac Says

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national volleyball coach Slobodan Kovac said they are well-prepared to take on Russia in the 2015 FIVB World League.

Iran will play Russia on Saturday and Sunday in Kazan.

“We are in our best shape at the moment and will put up our best performance against Russia,” Kovac said.

“I know to get results in Russia’s home is difficult but some of their key players such as Dmitriy Muserskiy will miss the match,” the Serbian coach added.

USA continued its dominance in Pool B with 14 points.

Poland sits second with 11 points, followed by Iran and Russia who have earned one point each.
