Iran's U-19 Volleyball Team Wins Italy Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's U-19 volleyball team defeated host Italy to win a trilateral tournament on Tuesday.
The Iranian team beat Italy in straight sets (25-22, 26-24, 29-27) in the final match.
Iran had already defeated Brazil 3-0 in the tournament.
Iran is preparing for the 2015 FIVB Boys' U-19 World Championship which will take place in Argentina in August.
Iran has been drawn in Pool C along with Poland, Chile, Chinese Taipei and Bulgaria.
The team will also hold a training camp in Germany.
