Paykan 3rd in Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Paykan of Iran finished in third place in the 2015 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship on Friday.
The Iranian team beat Pavlodar from Kazakhstan 3-1 (25 -13, 25-23, 26-28, 25-18) and came third.
Chinese Taipei’s Taichung Bank will play Qatari Al Arabi in the final match.
The champion of the tournament will qualify for the FIVB Men’s Club World Championship at Belo Horizonte in Brazil from October 17 to November 1.
Paykan is the most successful club in Asian volleyball, as it has won the Asian Club Championships a record seven times.
In 2010, it came third in the World Club Championships.
