Iran’s Paykan into FIVB Men’s Club World Championship Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Paykan Tehran advanced to the 2015 FIVB Men’s Club World Championship Final Four.
South American champion UPCN San Juan from Argentina moved forward to the semifinal stage after defeating Ahly Sporting Club of Egypt 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-21).
The result also qualified Paykan Tehran to the Final Four of the competition. The Iranian team had already defeated Ahly in its opening match.
Paykan will play UPCN San Juan Thursday night to determine Pool B leader.
The 2015 FIVB Men’s Club World Championship has brought a total of six teams in Betim, Brazil from October 27 to 31.
