General: Iran’s Defense Might Acknowledged Globally
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A top Iranian military official underscored that the global perception of Iran’s great military and defense power dissuades all countries from taking military action against Iran.
The world has now acknowledged that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a thriving and dynamic establishment enjoying great defense power, Major General Mostafa Izadi, a deputy to commander in chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, told Tasnim on Monday.
Highlighting Iran’s robust state, the general dismissed the notion of an offensive against the Islamic Republic, saying “no country would dare confront the Iranian Armed Forces militarily.”
The comments came after Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on September 28 called on Iran’s Armed Forces to remain in a constant state of preparedness to counter threats.
“The Iranian nation is today faced with a wide range of enemies because of its insistence on Islam, independence, sublime values… and the Armed Forces must be ready all the time to play their role if necessary,” Ayatollah Khamenei said at the time.
