The German team has parted company with Douglas Spradley on Friday after two and a half years.
Bauermann has worked at DBB, Bayern Leverkusen, Brose Bamberg and the FC Bayern, and Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd in Russia before being named as Iran coach.
“I’ve heard about that but Bauermann is under contract with Iran until 2020. There is a clause in his contract in which Bauermann should reach an agreement with us to take charge of a club,” Mahmoud Mashhoon, head of Iran Basketball Federation, told the Tasnim news agency.
