Iran, Cuba Weightlifting Federations Sign MoU
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Cuba weightlifting federations inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)on Wednesday.
The MoU was signed between Ali Moradi, the Iranian weightlifting federation’s president, and his counterpart in Havana.
The memorandum calls for expansion of cooperation between the two federations.
According to the MoU, Iran will participate at the 36th Manuel Suarez in Memoriam which will be held in Havana from March 8 to 12.
Cuban weightlifters will also participate at the International Fajr Cup in Iran.
Moradi is also planned to meet Pan American Weightlifting Federation president William F. Ozuna.
