Saudi Jets Hit Civilian Targets in Yemen’s Marib

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Saudi warplanes continued their unabated deadly airstrikes on residential areas in the west-central Marib province.

Saudi jets launched two air raids on civilian buildings in the district of Serwah in Marib province on Sunday night, Yemen’s official Saba news agency reported.

The areas of al-Matar, al-Rabiah and al-Makhdara were also targeted by the kingdom’s Air Force, with no casualties reported.

Since March 25, 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to Hadi.

According to Yemen’s Legal Center of Rights and Development, the Saudi campaign has claimed the lives of over 12,000 Yemenis and left more than 20,000 others wounded.
