Iran Basketball Team Beats China in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national basketball team beat China 63-60 in its first warm-up match on Tuesday.
The two teams will prepare for the 2019 World Cup in China and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Chang Lin finished with a team-high 13 points. Abdusalam also scored 13 while Zhaor Rui scored eight points for China.
Saijad Mashayekhi led Iran with a match-high 17 while Behnam Yakhchali added 15.
The two teams will play their second match in Changchun, China on Friday.
The Iranian team is headed by Mehran Hatami.
