Saeid Marouf: We Could Come Back in Third Set against USA
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national volleyball team's captain Saeid Marouf believes that they could return to the match in the third set but failed to do that.
Iran was defeated against USA 3-0 (17–25, 22–25, 28–30) in the 2017 FIVB World League Pool H1 week 3 Thursday night.
“We played just one set. We came back to the game set three, but the moment in the last part was really difficult for us,” Marouf said.
“It’s not about stress before this match, it’s about how we played. If you control the match you can win."
"About the match with Poland I can speak tomorrow (on Friday)," he concluded.
