Iran’s Giti Pasand Advances to AFC Futsal Club Championship Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Giti Pasand of Iran booked a place at the AFC Futsal Club Championship final by defeating a Qatari team.
Giti Pasand defeated Qatar’s Al Rayyan 4-2 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Friday.
Ahmad Esmaeilpour scored twice, while Abolqassem Orouji and Aliasghar Hassanzadeh were also on target for the Iranian team.
Flavio Barreto Arantes scored twice for Al Rayyan.
Giti Pasand’s Brazilian Vitor Hugo Da Silva was sent off for an infringement.
Earlier in the day, Thailand's Bluewave Chonburi had qualified for the final after beating Vietnamese Thai Son Nam 6-0.
Giti Pasand is going to face Bluewave Chonburi in the final contest on Sunday.
