Iran’s Taheri Wins Bronze at U-23 World Wrestling Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's Aminhossein Taheri claimed a bronze medal at the 125kg weight category of the U-23 World Wrestling Championships.
The bronze medals were won by Taheri and Ukraine's Danylo Kartavyi at the expense of Hungary's Mihaly Nagy and China's Zhanxiang Hu respectively.
Georgia’s Geno Petriashvili won the title as the first four men's freestyle competitions took place on Saturday in Bydgoszcz in Poland.
On Sunday marks the end of action in Bydgoszcz and will see the remaining four men’s freestyle weights - 65kg, 70kg, 74kg and 97kg - take center stage.
