We Are in Tough Group, Spain Coach Lopetegui Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Spain national football team's coach Julen Lopetegui says they have been drawn in a hard group.
Spain has been pitted against Portugal, Morocco and Iran in Group B of the 2018 World Cup.
"Without a doubt, we have a hard and difficult group," Lopetegui said.
"This is a World Cup. Portugal is a great team, Morocco has not lost a game in qualifying. Iran was the first team to qualify for the World Cup. They are going to demand the best of us," he added.
“Portugal current European champion and with a host of top-level footballers. The majority of Morocco’s players are playing in Europe and they knocked the Ivory Coast out and hasn’t lost any games,” Lopetegui stated.
“Iran didn’t concede a single goal in qualifying and have a coach who has been there a long time,” he concluded.
