Persepolis Defeats Tractor Sazi in Iran Professional League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis earned its 12th win in the Iran Professional League (IPL) current season, beating Tractor Sazi 2-0 on Friday.
In the match held in front of 70,000 cheering fans in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Ali Alipour put Persepolis ahead with a header in the 45th minute and Kamal Kamyabinia was on target in the 78th minute.
It was Alipour’s 11th goal in the current season.
Persepolis had defeated Tractor Sazi 2-1 in the first of the IPL season in Tabriz.
