U-17 Women’s Torneo delle Nazioni: Iran 1 – 1 Slovenia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran U-17 football team was held to a 1-1 draw by Slovenia at the Torneo delle Nazioni on Thursday.
The Iranian team had lost to USA 8-0 in Group A in its opening match on Wednesday.
Italy also lost to USA 5-0 in another group match.
The Iranian U-17 women football team will advance to the next round if the team beats Italy on Saturday.
USA has already advanced to the final as the group winner.
The second-place finishers will play for third, the third-place finishers will play for fifth and the fourth-place finishers will play for seventh.
Group B consists of Japan, England, Norway and Russia.
