General: No Anti-Iran Threat to Go Unanswered

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Republic of Iran will harshly respond to any hostile threat at any level, a top military commander said.

In comments in a gathering of IRGC Ground Force officials, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid highlighted the Iranian Armed Forces’ readiness to combat any threat posed by the terrorist and Takfiri groups or the vicious measures of the “ominous” US-led military coalitions.

“We won’t leave any threat at any level without a decisive and crushing response,” the general noted.

He also slammed the enemy’s attempt to create the illusion of Iran’s vulnerability, stressing the need for political and social unity between the Iranian government and nation in the face of the US.

In comments on Saturday, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei slammed the enemy’s “stupid” plot to create division between the Iranian people and Establishment, saying the two inseparable entities would grow links to foil the hostile plots, including economic pressures.

Ayatollah Khamenei also rejected the notion that Iran’s power is being exaggerated, adding, “The main proof of the Iranian nation’s might is that one of the world’s most ruthless and brutal powers, namely the US, has spared no effort and wickedness to confront the Iranian nation over the past forty years without being able to do a damn thing, while the Iranian nation has developed instead.”
