Iran Basketball Learns Rivals at Asian Games

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national basketball team has learned its rival at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.

Team Melli has been drawn in Group B along with the Philippines, Syria and the UAE.

South Korea, Mongolia, Indonesia and Thailand are in Group A.

Group C sees Japan, Qatar, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong while Kazakhstan, China and Palestine have been drawn in Group D.

Iran finished runner-up in the previous edition after losing to host South Korea in Incheon.

Basketball at the 2018 Asian Games will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 14 to September 1, 2018.
