The wildfire has now reached Redding, referred to as Carr Fire by the media, started on Wednesday, and it is assumed that it was caused by an arson attack. Authorities arrested Brandon McGlover, a 32-year-old man from Temecula, as the prime suspect.
Over 700 firefighters are reportedly fighting the blaze, which has spread to more than 28,000 acres.
