Iran’s Larestan Loses at Asian Women's Club League Handball Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Larestan of Iran lost to Kazakhstan’s Kaysar Club at the 2018 Asian Women's Club League Handball Championship opener on Wednesday.
The Iranian handball club was defeated 42-25 in its opening match.
Larestan will play Indian T-Sports Club on Thursday.
The 2018 Asian Women's Club League Handball Championship is the third edition of the competition held from October 3 to 9 at Universal Sports Complex, Dostyk in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
It was organized by the Kazakhstan Handball Federation under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation.
It was the official competition for women's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions.
