Persepolis to Sign Striker in Transfer Window
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis coach Gabriel Calderon says they will sign a new forward in the January transfer window.
The Iranian club will part ways with Brazilian striker Junior Brandao, the Argentine said.
Brandao, 24, has failed to score a goal after eight weeks.
He signed for Persepolis on loan on a one-year contract from Bulgarian club Ludogorets in August.
Brandao remained an unused substitute in the match against Shahin Bushehr, where Persepolis won 5-0.
Persepolis is fourth in Iran Professional League table, three points behind leader Sepahan.
