Iran Downs Nepal at AFC U-19 C’ship 2020 Qualifiers
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Nepal 4-0 at the AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020 Qualifiers on Friday.
Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi opened the scoring in the 75th minute in Tehran’s Dastgerdi Stadium.
Ahmad Reza Jalali extended Iran’s lead in the 82nd minute.
Alireza Monazami scored the third goal in the 85th minute and Arya Barzegar was on target in the 90th minute.
Kyrgyzstan also defeated the UAE 2-0 in Group D.
Iran will play the UAE on Sunday, while Nepal meet Kyrgyzstan.
The competition is being held in Tehran, Iran from November 6 to 10.
