Syrian Residents Celebrate as Aleppo City Fully Cleared of Terrorists (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Residents of the Syrian city of Aleppo flooded the streets on Sunday night to express joy after the Syrian military announced regaining full control over the city following retaking of all neighborhoods and nearby villages.
Footage shows thousands of people in the streets cheering and honking their car horns.
On Friday, the Syrian army also reclaimed full control of the strategic M5 highway connecting Aleppo, in the north of the country, and Damascus in the south.
