Esteghlal Held by First Division Team Shahrdari Astara
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Esteghlal football team was held by Iranian First Division team Shahrdari Astara in a friendly match on Tuesday.
In the match held in Azadi Stadium, Vouria Ghafouri put the Blues in the lead in the 80th minute from the penalty spot and Mobin Rezapour equalized the match with two minutes remaining from the penalty spot.
The new edition of the Iran Professional League will kick off on November 6.
Esteghlal, who became runner-up last season, will host newly-promoted Mes Rafsanjan in Tehran on November 7.
